Class Types

HATHA BEGINNERS

For those completely new to yoga or just wanting to take it a bit slower. An uplifting practice that promotes physical health and mental wellbeing. This class will give you a good foundation with introduction to basic yoga poses, breathing techniques and overall personal awareness.

HATHA GENTLE

Suitable for all levels of flexibility and fitness. Classes focus on releasing tension, connecting with the breath. A great class for those with limitations such as back issues. Lots of options provided for those that want a little less or a little more. The Hatha class works on strength and flexibility through simple yoga postures, awareness through breathing practices and relaxation which will leave you feeling rejuvenated for the day!

HATHA FLOW

In our Hatha Flow class we start to explore more refined alignment principles, intermediate postures & creative flow sequences. The aim of this class is to develop mental focus, strength, flexibility and balance. Movement and breath are used together to produce a “flow” of postures that lead from one to the next with longer holds on poses to really get the maximum health benefits from each pose. Again, lots of options provided for those that want a little less or a little more.

CALM

(RELAXATION CLASS)

These classes are all about relaxing! We offer a range of simple and practical relaxation techniques that you can integrate into your own life and use at any time. Develop skills to reduce stress levels, relieve anxiety and develop a more positive approach to life. These classes include relaxation techniques, a range of yoga breathing exercises, meditation and yoga nidra. Yoga nidra is a guided relaxation technique. You will leave this class with a sense of peace that will stay with you for some time. Complete bliss!
